Location: Dunton, Essex (4 days onsite per week)
Rate: £54.55ph via an Umbrella Company

Position Description:
Coordinate and support Studio Engineering Feasibility and Design Process
Studio Design Feasibility Status, Hard points plan and Executive Summary
Coordinate and support benchmark for technical solutions applicable to the attributed project
In charge of the CAD design and development of highly complex components as single part and parts assembly with interdependent functionalities
Coordinate and support technical communication with Design and all non-Design Departments
Check incoming data from internal and external suppliers for compliance
Ensure feasibility and appropriate dimensioning of the developed CAD data (e.g., strength, rigidity, cross-sections, centers of gravity, Masses, moments of inertia)
Support the internal and constant process improvement in terms of CAD data timing and quality delivery
Embrace cross-project development teams
Coordinate and support the documentation and archives of the created CAD data
Develop product presentations relative to the developed CAD data
Responsible of storing, releasing and archiving in Team Center according to global processes. (Updating, maintaining and securing the data.)
Skills Required:
- Studio Engineering: working within Design to deliver theme and work with Engineering to align and challenge technical inputs
- Studio Engineering: Design feasibility and CAD engineering TC (Teamcentre) and Catia V5
- Design Aesthetic Understanding
- Curious mind / Innovation mindset
- Collaborative Mindset both inside and outside Design

Experience Required:
Experience in automotive exterior or interior Studio Engineering within Design
Education Required:
Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Transportation Design, or a related field
Additional Information :
Minimum 4 days on site in Dunton Some travel may occasionally be required
