  • Job Title: Workplace Manager

    Location: Bristol

    Rate: £27.34ph working via an Umbrella Company (INSIDE IR35)

    Hours: 37.5pw working hours 8.00 – 17.00

    Employment Type: Contract – 3-month FTC

    Job Purpose and Key Responsibilities

    As an Office Manager, you will be responsible for leading the team in performance, statutory, mandatory and corporate compliance, including SHE compliance. Due to the requirements of the client, a higher level of security clearance will be required.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Work closely with the Client Site Lead to ensure smooth running of the satellite office.
    • Maintain a weekly schedule of contract management movements and ensure timely circulation to the team.
    • Assist the business by raising purchase orders as required.
    • Provide F&H in the way of refreshments for meetings.
    • Provide administration of systems and processes for the sites.
    • Administration of security systems and databases.
    • Ensure statutory compliance is maintained across the site.
    • Support internal performance key indicators.
    • Monitor site performance against SLAs and KPIs.
    • Promote a strong safety culture, lead by example and ensure the team are working effectively.
    • Positively influence customer relationships to ensure regular contact is maintained and service delivery expectations are achieved/exceeded.
    • Support and manage out-of-hours requirements.
    • Assist with the collation of finance data and support the finance team.
    • Print and issue ID badges.
    • Conduct induction briefings for new starters.
    • Issue IT account information to new starters.
    • Conduct access control reviews.
    • Host meetings.
    • Support and host all security accreditation and audit visits/reviews.
    • Act as Alarms Coordinator.
    • Act as First Aider.
    • Support mail room operations.

    Person Specification

    Education and Qualifications

    • GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent) – Essential

    Work Experience

    • Relevant corporate, hospitality or customer service experience – 2-3 years
    • Experience working with systems (e.g. MS Office) – 2-3 years
    • Management of personnel – 2-3 years

    Knowledge, Skills and Ability

    • High degree of accuracy – Essential
    • Excellent communication skills – Essential
    • Good time management – Essential
    • Customer service skills – Essential
    • Technical ability in Microsoft Office (Intermediate/Advanced) – Essential
